The announcement was made during the 2015 NASSCOM Game Developers Conference (NGDC) in New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Mr. Tim Yang, general manager of Baidu India, the previous version of MoboMarket already has over 4.5 million monthly active users in India and has a content library of over 500,000 apps and games. In addition to its built-in support for Hindi, MoboMarket version 3.0 also includes localized content and a recommendation system specifically designed for Indian users, which will highlight apps related to local holidays and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMoboMarket has gotten really popular here, and we want to show our love to our local fans and developers with a much better localized experience,\u201d said Mr. Yang. \u201cHindi language support is just one part of this update. We also added smart recommendations and redeemable MoboMarket points for our users,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to its primary function as an Android app store, MoboMarket 3.0 also includes the following new features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MoboMarket represents a first step toward establishing a healthy mobile ecosystem in India. The product\u2019s local-first approach will enable Baidu to increase its number of partnerships with Indian developers and help them more effectively reach their users. \u201cMoboMarket is helping to build the foundation of a healthy local ecosystem, which will really benefit the \u2018Digital India\u2019 initiative,\u201d further Yang adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to MoboMarket, Baidu has previously released its Android apps DU Battery Saver, DU Speed Booster, and ES File Explorer for the India market.
