<\/p>\nSamsung today unveiled the world\u2019s first smartphone with quad rear camera. Dubbed as, Samsung Galaxy A9, the smartphone has been launched at its \u2018Galaxy Unpacked\u2019 event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.<\/p>\n

The smartphone is quite attractive in its design. It has glass on the back and around the edges, housed into a metal frame. With the starting price of 599 Euros, the device comes in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink colour options.<\/p>\n
In terms of specifications, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a 6.3-inch (1080\u00d72220 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display and an Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) along with Adreno 512 GPU. The device will be in two variants \u2013 one with 6GB and another with 8GB of RAM. The company has packed with 128GB internal storage which is expandable upto 512GB through a micro SD card.<\/p>\n
As far as the camera is concerned, the quad-camera setup at the back includes an ultra-wide, telephoto, primary lens and a depth sensor in vertically aligned position. The setup includes a 24-megapixel f\/1.7 main camera which is accompanied by a 10-megapixel f\/2.4 telephoto lens for 2X optical zoom, an 8-megapixel 120-degrees ultra wide-angle lens and the fourth 5-megapixel f\/2.2 depth camera for live focus.<\/p>\n
On the front, there is a 24-megapixel sensor along with an f\/2.0 aperture. All the cameras are backed by the company’s own AI camera software, dubbed Intelligent camera feature.<\/p>\n
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is powered by 3800mAh battery and it runs Android 8 Oreo OS.<\/p>\n
The smartphone will be available starting from November in the select global market. However, the company has mentioned its availability or pricing for India.<\/p>\n
Other features on the device include a fingerprint scanner mounted on the backside, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4\/5GHz), USB Type-C, VHT80 MIMO, Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC (Optional) connectivity options, adaptive fast charging and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
